Circular knitting produces tubular fabric on a rotating cylinder of needles, and is the construction behind most T-shirts, polos, co-ord sets, sweatshirts and loungewear. DG Knitting has knitted circular fabric in Surat, Gujarat since 2017, running 100+ machines with 350 tons per month of capacity across roughly 140 to 300 GSM at 60 inch standard width, in fake cotton, full dull polyester and PV blends.

What we test, and why it matters
Four properties decide whether a repeat programme holds together season to season, and all
four are tested in-house: GSM consistency, shrinkage control,
colour fastness and pilling resistance. A mill that cannot hold
these will pass a first sample and fail the third bulk lot.
Also available — warp and flat knitting
Warp knitting produces run-resistant, dimensionally stable fabric for curtains, mesh,
sportswear and upholstery. Flat knitting produces shaped panels — collars, cuffs and neck
tapes — matched to your body fabric. Both are run in-house and made to order.
